Hello everyone,
Yesterday was Thanksgiving in the USA
A day where families get together to eat and give thanks for the blessings each has received during the year.
Nikita, Dimitri (who invited his friend Humberto) and yours truly went to Nipomo, to celebrate at the home of Michelle's in laws Dale and Kai who are super nice and always include our family in their holiday celebrations.
Michelle and Nathan with Zachary were there as well as Nick and Natalie with her boyfriend Robert, his lovely daughters and his parents.
Aunt Betty and other friends as well.
We had a great dinner, with all the customary ingredients of American Thanksgiving, turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, salads and a delicious carrot souffle. for dessert several pies, my grandson Zachary was eating whipped cream and smiling very happy!!
Of my children several were somewhere else, Pascale in Chile, (she was visiting friends in Iquique a northern city, near where the earthquakes last week ) Jason and Amber were with Norman my ex, Tatiana was in Mexico with her dad and Ela still in Ukraine. But all of them were in my prayers.
Also I gave thanks for my family in Chile and all my friends around the planet.
After dinner, Dale played the video of Nathan and Michelle from babies all the way to their wedding day and Zachary.
Everyone watched, ohhh ahhh, laughed and had a wonderful time.
And that was the way we celebrated our Thanksgiving 2007
