Remembrance

You left one day
to a unknown world
with sorrows and joy
you forged a future
with courage and bravery


Don't forget that here
are the nostalgic longings
that one day you left
seeking a dawn,
never forget this land

The land that saw your birth
one morning
roots that are present
when you reach the mountains

And despite that you no longer live
in this land that misses you
you chose to be a globetrotter
in a homeland so distant,

Never forget that you are Chilean body and soul.
Here are your dreams that you left one morning.
not you ever forget those who love you
and miss you.
