FLYING TO CHILE
I went to Nipomo, to have dinner with my friends Olavi and Leo, his son Lee and their friend Richard.
We all helped with dinner, I made a salad of lettuce, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, cucumbers, avocados and green onions.
They made a bbq of beef and chicken and we sat to a wonderful dinner. I went to bed early and in the morning they drove me to LAX
At the LAN Chile office they were so nice and very soon I was pushed in a wheel chair to customs. It was my first time thru the new full body scanner, and I passed with flying colors!!
The plane left on time and by 2 pm I was flying over the Pacific ocean on my way south.
I watched two movies, two comedies, Men who stared at goats and Its complicated.
After 9 hours of flying we landed in Lima, Peru.
We had a 25 minutes stop there and then continued the flight to Santiago, Chile.
And this morning at 6 am LAN Chile 601 landed in a light rain in Pudahuel.
I had the best attention from the LAN Chile crew, and again pushed in a wheelchair I picked my suitcases and met my Mom, Pascale and Willy.
They drove me to their apartment and we had a wonderful Chilean breakfast of tea, marraqueta bread, quesillo, tomatoes, avocados!!!
After that I went to bed with my mom and we took a long nap.
Later Pascale picked us up and we went to the beauty salon, and had a tint and cut, manicure all a gift from my daughter Paskki.
After we went to lunch at the Club Manquehue, where Willy met us and I had the best Churrasco sandwich ever!!!
Later Pascale and I took mom to her apartment and we drove to Pascale,s apartment where we are right now.
She is taking a nap on the couch, I am listening to the CNN CHILE and typing this.
Tomorrow I will go with my mom to the cementery to place flowers on my daddy mausoleum
