Hello everyone,
Yesterday we went to celebrate Michelle's baby shower at Kai's home in Arroyo Grande.
There was food, drinks and cake.
All her friends came over and there was presents and we had a great time.
All my children were there except Pascale who is in Chile and Nikita who was working and couldn't come.
I am telling you this story, so you know how destiny plays in our lives.
Around eight we left, and my grandson Zachary came home with us, he wanted to spend the night with "Grandma Pachi".
My son Jason and his girlfriend Amber left just before us, I saw the tail of his pick up as I left the road.
Kai's home is at the end of a private lane, that ends into the main road, at a dangerous curve that I personally hate due to the bad visibility. I was driving, Tatiana was next to me and in the back was Dimitri and Zachary sitting in his carseat, all of us with seatbelts. ( I do not drive until everyone is buckled up)
We had to wait for several cars to pass before I was able to enter the main road and then the highway, we arrived home safe some twenty five minutes later.
I called Michelle to tell her we arrived ok and she told me that some friends who followed us out of the private lane, were waiting to enter the main road, when a car, missed the curve and hit them head on. That there were three ambulances, the fire department and several police cars, taking the hurt parties to the hospital.
To think that we were in the same spot some five minutes earlier!
Last night I fell a sleep with my grandson, hugging him and thanking God for protecting us.
This morning, we found out everyone is ok, some abdominal hematomas, and no major injuries,
but the cars were a total loss.
Mimi and Nate just picked up Zachary and they are on their way home to Nevada, some six hour driving, until they call me tonight I will be thinking of them.
Please buckle up and teach your children to do the same.
thank you, thank you, thank you universe!
