Hello friends,
We took the train to Los Angeles, because our flight got canceled due to the thunderstorm.
After six hours we arrived in Union Station, then uptown via metro to Hollywood.
We walked to Ronald Mc Donalds house.
I called my friend Gabita to see if we were having dinner, but she woke up sick so we plan to get together next time we are in town.
The next morning, the hospital van picked us up and we spent the morning at the Children's Hospital.
Then we went to the Rincon Chileno and had cazuela and churrascos.
After that we took the metro to the Chilean Consulate and we visited with our friend Enzo Trucco who is the Chancelor.
Back in the house, we had dinner with our friend the Russian doctor Vladimir Voropaev and other friends, we laughed a lot trying my Russian and his English.
The next morning, Dimitri went to the hospital to have an ultrasound and I stayed cleaning the room to check out at noon.
We then went back to the Chilean Consulate where I renewed my Chilean passport.
Back to the metro and to Burbank Airport to meet our Angel Flight pilot Don and his Piper
we flew home at 3 pm the flight was bumpy due to heavy winds, but we arrived ok in San Luis Obispo.
My daughter in law Amber, picked us up at the airport and drove us to the train station where we had left Dimitri's car.
Finally home I am in bed and I got blisters on my feet.....too much walking!
