Dear friends,
We watched in horror last night on tv how the fire storm burned homes in Montecito, Santa Barbara.
The winds of 60 to 70 mph made the situation impossible to control.
And this morning we had a scare here in San Luis Obispo.
A brush fire of 100 acres, just on the top of the hill near our city.
The firefighters and planes are still working trying to put it out before the sundown winds take off.
Hard times....
