RAINING AND STORMING IN SANTIAGO

I had planned to travel to Vina del Mar today, but dsrk clouds started to arrive and now it is raining, so I stayed put, uploading videos in Paskki's apartment.
Later the sky got pretty dark, and the storm arrived, with lighting and thunder!

Last night my sister Clarita with my niece Andrea, drove me downtown to Patio Bellavista where I met with several friends and we had a wonderful time!

LUNCH WITH CLARITA

Just like movie stars my sister Clarita and brother in law Juan Pablo, picked me up in their brand new BMW with the top down and we raced up hill to the La Reina area, and had lunch in their lovely home with my nieces and nephew. Later we took a ride with Claire and Andrea to the top of the hill where they will build a new home, a pretty place looking at the city of Santiago, I imagine by December it will be fantastic to sit outside in the terrace and see the awesome lights! Today I had lunch with my friend Carolina and we had a wonderful time! in a lovely restaurant where I had Caldillo de Congrio, a delicious fish soup!

Later I spent the afternoon with my friend Berta, she picked me up and we drove out of Santiago to a place called La Florida, and we visited her friend Nora.

Her home is lovely and she has a wonderful backyard, with lemon trees.

We sat on the terrace by the pool and drank Pisco Sours, and took photos.

Later we had a delicious tea and chatted until eight pm.
Berta drove me home, it was a wonderful day.

CIVIL CEREMONY

This morning at 8 am we left to the county clerk.
Slowly the family started to arrive and pretty soon we were a big bunch!
Pascale looked lovely in a lilac coat with black pants and Willy looked very handsome
in a blue blazer with cream pants.
The civil ceremony was sweet, the judge very nice and friendly and the smiling faces surrounding Paskki and Willy told everything!

I was so touched when Willy promised to love her for ever!
My brother in law Juan Pablo was Paskki's witness, I was happy to see them together.

Paskki and Willy exchanged rings and kissed, and just like that they were husband and wife!!!

My niece Andrea Paz videotaped the ceremony I will upload the video tonight.

We drove to the Manquehue Club were we had a lovely breakfast.
I sat bettween Willy's mom and my mom, and we talked and laughed and had a wonderful time.

Meeting Willy's family was great, they are very nice and I was happy to see that they love Paskki.
My two dear friends came with their spouses and it was wonderful seeing them.
By noon we were home..full of flower baskets, presents and cards!

Later we went food shopping with Paskki and got some " Humitas" for dinner ( a type of tamale) and I will make a salad of tomatoes, lettuce, avocado to go with it tonight.

BRINGING FLOWERS TO DADDY

Mom and I went to the Cementery this morning and placed flowers in Dad's grave.
It was a special time, we visited grandma, grandpa and many relatives.
Then we went to lunch with Paskki and spent the rest of the day relaxing at home.
Tomorrow is the big day!!!
