Diverse generations, all with the same goal, cleaning and reforesting
they brought spoons, and garden tools
garbage bags and their energies
and they went to the forest above the Lover's Beach in Quintero, Chile
They worked all day under the sun, on the inclined slippery hillside
they fell too, luckily Bertita did not get seriously hurt
scary falling several feet down a hill...but she got up and continued
they worked until exausted,
and they cleaned our loved forest of trash and weeds.
Planting flowers on the dry hill, to stop the erosion
and giving all of us an example of solidarity, feminism, and sisterhood!!
Thank you Bertita, Miranda, Rosario, Jessia and Paula.
I salute you and congratulate you sisters, you are great!!
